A Trade Mark application will be prepared a lodged with IP Australia by a Trade Mark specialist, consisting of a fee of $260 per class.
The application will be lodged within 3 business days of being received, with a Notice of Filing confirming this delivered afterwards.
The application will receive the First Examination Report in 8-10 weeks, confirming the outcome. Applications can be expedited for an additional $200 with the Examination Report delivered within 5 business days.
This option provides the application only and no advice will be given. If you are unsure if your mark is available, it is best to order a Search Report first.
This fee is all inclusive for 10 years of registration with IP Australia.

If there are any issues raised by IP Australia during the examination of your application, we will forward the report with our advice and, if any substantial action is required, our team will quote you a fee for your approval.

Classes When applying for a trade mark you are required to nominate which goods or services you want your trade mark to cover. There are 45 official classes of goods and services, with a government fee of $250 per class and our professional fee of $180 for every class. We indicate your main trade mark class, and other classes could be important to you, we will discuss with you whether you want to proceed in the additional classes.
